SHUT UP, I am TYPING over HERE

retro_writer

Are you a writer?  Do others or things tend to distract often?  Don’t you wish you could tell them to shut up, maybe throw a book at them?  Not only would it give you peace of but it sure would be funny.  I enjoy writing and being transparent and open to whom I am talking to, but if I can’t get the words out, I tend to keep quiet.  I get into this daze type of mode and just stare at a something, or opening seek something surrounding me to snap my focus back into place.

With all that was said above, I am returning back to my weekly series on Sundays, Social Sunday’s in which I do a wrapped up of all my days of the previous week and curate the internet and introduce you to new and exciting things.  It’s time to get back to real writing and let all the distractions go.  I hope you are all ready and I hope you all a great new up coming week.

A funny image I found of distractions below…

I love WordPress’s new feature of the “Trophy Case” on their wordpress.com blogs and websites.  It’s a really great feature to highlight your accomplishments and celebrate your blog.  Did you see yours as yet?  Being a part of a community of bloggers and reading and growing with them is a beautiful thing to do, whether it’s career related, a project, a hobby or more.

On WordPress sharing, liking and commenting is encouraged just as it is to write and be as creative as you want to be.  So why not make you blog or website public and watch your trophy case fill up?  I am just a passionate writer and blogger who enjoys living and seeing the what the world has to offer from the small upcoming blogger to some of the biggest brands out there.

I have been blogging for over 10 years and I love the opportunity to interact and express my thoughts & opinions.  I have found a home on WordPress soon to be 5 years ago, and kept writing and improving and never looked back.  So to everyone writing and/or aspiring to write, just start today and remember this, “Read, Write, Enjoy…“.

If you haven’t got a blog as yet, consider getting one at http://www.wordpress.com and join the greatest blogging community in the world (at least to me and many others).

*If you are logged into your WordPress blog or website, CLICK HERE for your TROPHY CASE.

WHY I WRITE

flying-papers-why-i-write

I don’t feel like writing, but hence I am writing anyways.  I enjoy to see the words from my thoughts come to life on a page or computer screen.  It’s really not for the pleasure of others reading my works but more of the fact that I am able to do so myself, makes me feel good.  So when I write it must be something interesting, worth wild, not really just writing to write or grab attention.  It’s such a mystery at times where my passion for writing has come from.  In my everyday life, I keep my thoughts to myself, I am observer, so when actually act my thoughts out, they have went through a series of processes just for me to let them out.  Thoughts of whats the right words I want to say, who do I want to hear such words, in what way or form should I say such words, and will it be with a smile or a straight face.  Writing is therapy, visual stimulation, fun, time-consuming at times via I can’t stop writing.  So to end it all off why I write;

I write to be free.
I write to make my imaginary thoughts visible.
I write to read.
I write for me.

Question: Why do you write?
