A Sense of Humor is Key To Life

Mr Bean awesome funny

One of the greatest thing in life is a sense of humor.  We all need more smiling, laughing and having a great time.  Whether laughing at something silly or laughing about a topic while having a great conversation, having a sense of humor is an invaluable asset in life.  I try my best everyday to enjoy life and to add to other’s appreciation of life with humor, even strangers.  If I do something silly or odd, it’s really more of being myself as much as to give others a different point of view or experience they can learn and enjoy.  I always tell others that hanging out with me or meeting me in real life is quite an experience, for every time you meet me, you will see a different side and no days is really the same.

I know for me, one of the most precious things in life is comedy.  If a girl can make me laugh and be very witty and keep me laughing then she has reeled me in forever.  Then again she has to have other things too, like being inspiring, for that will keep me coming back for more in the long run.  I think that goes for almost anybody.  Being creative, being inspirational, and having a good sense of humor will make you my best friend forever.

Anyways, back to the laughs.  Some of my favorite people to watch are Dane Cook, Dave Chappelle, Eddie Murphy, Rowan Atkinson (yup ypu Mr. Bean), Jim Carey, Chris Rock and even Jackie Chan.  I was raised up on humor and comedy watching hours and hours of Looney Tunes, Bugs Bunny is my favorite as well as Daffy Duck and Sylvester, they are too crazy.  On a side note I plan on buying a Bugs Bunny teddy bear, that would be a one of the greatest gift in the world to me.  I like the simple things.

Do you have a sense of humor?  When was the last time you have a good laugh?  What entertains you the most?

Mr Bean

Go out, watch a funny movie, call up a friend, do something silly for laughs and enjoy the results of smiling and the wonderful feeling it brings.  Cherish it.

Subscriber Interview with “Belle Marie” at BelleMarie86 by RawMultimedia

subscriber interview

Hello Friends and Fellow Creative Blog Community…welcome to a new series titled “Subscriber Interview“.

last week’s interviewee: The Wandering Mind

Subscriber Interview is a series on my blog where I, Richardo the writer/host of the blog talks and interviews his subscribers each week and find out a little more about them and what they do. It’s designed to keep the blogging community alive and also show others who is out there in the blog universe.

Without no further ado, here we go.

Today I have the pleasure to interview Kristina in one of my fun subscriber and also a blogger who blogs about beauty, fashion, celebrities and more and has a blog at aka “It’s One Belle of a Blog“.  Go and check her out.  Enjoy!

What is your name and what do you enjoy doing for fun?

My name is Kristina, but most people call me Kris or Krissy. Kristina is so formal! For fun, I love to write, listen to music, hang out with my friends and family, watch movies, go shopping…yea, definitely go shopping!

Where are you from (city, state, country) and Nationality?

I’m a New Yorker, through and through! Born and raised and I’ll probably live here all my life! I’m African-American and half of my family on my Dad’s side is from Jamaica.

If a blogger and own a blog what is your blog about and what do you enjoy about blogging?

My blog is all about the things that I love which are fashion, movies, music, television, beauty and then it’s also just my random thoughts and what goes on in my life. The best part for me about blogging is just getting my opinions and my thoughts out there and working on my writing skills. Like I said, I absolutely love to write and hope to make it a career someday so blogging is a great way to get myself started.

What would someone enjoy about your blog or about you?

I think what people will enjoy most about my blog is my thoroughness. I don’t feel I’ve done a good enough job unless I pay attention to every detail down to grammar, pictures, links and anything else I feel is important to include. I think people will also enjoy my random bits of humor and sarcasm. Everybody loves that right?

What do you do mostly on the internet?

I usually get on the internet and do girly things like read gossip news, look at new clothes and accessories I might want and watch beauty tutorials on YouTube. But overall, I absorb a lot of information. I think people give the internet a hard time because it’s so informal but you can actually learn a lot from the web if you give it a chance.

Why did you become a subscriber to Richardo’s blog?

I became a subscriber of Richardo’s blog because I enjoy his sense of humor and honesty about his beliefs and attitudes.

Is there a favorite post or something you enjoy the most about Richardo’s blog?

I have a lot of favorites but the posts I like the most are his creative ones where he makes up a scenario or poem about something funny. Basically, I enjoy anything he does that makes me laugh!

Name one or a few of your Guilty Pleasures?

Probably one of my biggest guilty pleasures is Reality Television! The more drama, the more I LOVE IT!

What were some of your favorite childhood activities?

When I was a child, I loved to draw. I would make up characters and scenes; I had a character I drew a lot called “Tiger Woman” who was a super hero that was half tiger and half human!

If you had $10 in your pocket, what would you spend it on?

If I had $10 in my pocket I would probably spend it on notebooks, pens and pencils which I definitely don’t need anymore of but I love to buy them anyway!

If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be?

I would love to meet Brandy. I’ve loved her and her music since I was 8 years old. She’s such a beautiful person, an awesome singer, actress and performer and she inspires me! I would love to meet her though I’d probably faint and cry if I do…maybe not in that order!

What inspires you to write or read blogs?

I think what draws people to read or write blogs is just the natural urge we have to get inside people’s heads or have others get inside ours. Every blogger, I think has this tiny little narcissistic thing in them that makes them want everyone to listen to their ideas and opinions.

What’s your favorite type of music or you listen to frequently?

I can’t say I have a favorite type of music because I love all kinds, genres and types! If I hear something and it sounds good, no matter where it comes from or who sings it, it’s going on my iPod! My tastes range from something soulful like Anita Baker or Robin Thicke, to something a little edgier like My Chemical Romance or Fall Out Boy and everything in between!

What’s one or a few of your favorite movies and why?

Oh, the dreaded favorite movies question! I can never pick just one but I will say that I love romantic comedies and good horror movies which are hard to come by now-a-days. I’m not a big action fan but there are a few exceptions. And a good thriller is good too!

My Passion For Love, and Tickle Your Funny Bone

Comedy Show
Comedy Show (Photo credit: edenpictures)

Growing up in Jamaica I have always wanted to achieve something big and major, and at the same time make people happy and feel loved at all times.  I came to find out that my best attributes were towards poetry and comedy and how I saw life through my eyes.  For the ladies, its poetry for they needed to be loved, someone to speak gently and to their soul, in which I always knew how to do by giving compliments and seeing what struggles they went through as I had more female friends then males.  As for the male, comedy was the life of the party, the person who can entertain even the toughest guy on the block had leverage over many as you can’t be serious every day, the comedic guy could never be seen a threat to you status among everyone else.

This was my philosophy as a young guy coming up in the world.  Studying my surroundings, stay invisible as possible to your enemies, and not really let anyone know your my capabilities so they won’t get to exploit them in any way.  So I was always the middle guy in every situation, for I was always seen as the nice blend of everything you like and never over stepping anyone’s boundaries.

Through the back pages of my notebook, I would write comedic verses, in which I found as entertainment to give myself giggles as I displayed them to friends who usually found me weird, because they always was like, how come a smart guy this like me, can be so silly.  Those days in Grades 2 to 5 were classic as I shined among my friends, as I was always ready to try to learn and if I couldn’t do what others do, I would like to study and observe, because I knew one day I will test it out and see where I stand among the crowd.  For the ladies, going of basis of what my mother always said to me, ask before you do anything, I always questioned the life out of every single thing I came in encounter with even if I knew the answer, I was always ready to learn a new perspective in which people didn’t know they unwillingly gave to me by me being so innocent and friendly, I gained a great deal of knowledge about people and their behaviors.  I guess is why I have a great deal of respect for psychology in my later high school and college years as I was quick to adapt to the analytical way of thinking when learning others.

My comedy and poetry goes hand in hand to this day as it did in high school and college, in which led me into the hearts of many, who was just looking for someone who understands and can tickle their funny bone naturally without lies, or seeking other impolite advancements.  I am guy that can write you a simply note and make your world so exciting because of my cleverness, charming ways, how spontaneous my words were delivered in which were effortless for they were always pure thoughts to match the heart.  I became a romantic in this world, having love for the passion of love in which is the true way to someone’s heart, and using humor as desert as well because it is what the soul craves.

After all my gibberish and back stories, I simply just love the sound and actions of romance and poetry, and being entertaining with my comedy performances and jabs.  This is the stage many people don’t usually see except for the lucky ones in my life, but now I am ready to put it on display to the world, and hopefully win their hearts and eyes and ears, to see my entertain as well as smooth their minds with poetry.

What are your passions in life?  That are your best talents?  If you could pick or choose some features you would like to be yours what would they be?
