Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day…

Today we celebrate the fight for unity, equal rights for all.  We are judged by our character, not by our color.  Let us free ourselves from our divided selves, and unite.

Quotes:

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.
Free at last, Free at last, Thank God almighty we are free at last.

Cheers.

CREATE YOUR OWN LIFE’S CHEAT SHEET [#Thoughts]

Cheating - cheat sheet

Life has a lot of distractions.  So having a cheat sheet handy to stay on track is a cool thing to have on you for those moments you are tempted to do something you don’t want to.  A cheat sheet to fitness, a cheat sheet to dieting/eating, even a cheat sheet to relieving stress is a key element we all need in life.  My number one cheat sheet to have is my “What Makes Me Smile” cheat sheet.

What Makes Me Smile: Cheat Sheet

  1.  Listening To My Favorite Songs
  2.  Watching My Favorite Movies
  3.  Playing with My Soccer Ball
  4.  Riding My Bike
  5.  Joy Riding the Internet on Macbook

IT’S COOL TO OWN YOUR OWN THINGS [#Thoughts]

money bag

IT’S COOL TO OWN THINGS… I wonder who thought me that? Oh yea, my grandmother and mother. My mom taught me to make sure you don’t red-eye for what someone else got, and my grandmother taught me, if you own your things can’t no one tell you what you can do with it (only things is the I learned it was by she telling me I can’t use her things when she felt like it, but keep insisting on wanting me to want to borrow her things). Well played… I learn then I teach…

I go by this motto, it’s not yours unless you truly own it and can do whatever you want with it.

The first things I ever owned and felt like ruled the world were:

Sega Dreamcast – 2000

2.0 Digital Camera – 2000

Usb 128 megabit Mp3 Player – 2001
