HOW TO CHANGE THE WORLD AROUND ME

Everyday I wake, I think to myself, what is it can I change today?  I work in technology and customer service, and each day I help people see life in a different way.  Knowledge is what I have a lot of and I share it with anyone who wants to listen and take action in their life.  Value in themselves and their possession is what people fail to focus on in today’s society.  It’s hard for them to change their mind-set for the better.  So the few minutes I get to share a moment with people I tend to ask questions and share answers to what they may not know or things that may help them live better and more efficient.

I love that I am contributing to the world and to the people.  I am hoping to do this on a bigger scale this year.  I hope I can meet friends that are interesting in helping.

Would you pledge to help?

Thanks for reading,
Yours Truly,
Rik.

  1. I always aim to make one person smile. At least one person a day. I too work in a customer service-y kind of job and everyone’s issue is different and complicated in its own way. The key is to not judge, and try to imagine how you would feel if you had to deal with their predicament. Similarly angry, I think. So I try to empathize, try to understand, and hope to get to the point that I can calm a person down and point him or her to the right direction. Staying patient helps.

    Keep helping.
