I AM A MONSTER…RawMultimedia

richardo, photo, photography,

It’s a wrap, writing my LAST posts of National Poetry Writing Month…what a month, (one more day to go). 30 Days, 30 Posts…But guess what I did it twice technically (2x). Got to challenge yourself sometimes right?  So for me, it’s 60 Poems, 30 Days…I was a muse for a creative person of the comedy world, in which I am going to leave the details out, but a few of my followers actually follows him as well, heh he…

Anyways, I am so happy and glad my contribution to NaPoWriMo is over, I don’t mean it in a bad way, it was a lovely challenge for me and helped me enter into a new category and new community of people whom have great passions, even though I am actually a writer and poet as well, my blog is more than just a poetry blog.  I don’t want to give people the wrong impression that it’s all I do or offer to the world.  I have something called “The Real Life” is which I write about life, people, inspiration, photography and film in which I haven’t contributed to in a LONG time.

So it’s BYE to poetry for now, for its time to get back to the real life, as well focus on my book, music, film and management firm.

I really want to reach out to a few of the great and wonderful bloggers I have met, and hope so dearly that they would do a few guest posts on my blog.  I love their words and works and just want to give them some shine even though they are great on their own, but I just love the community so darn much.

Lastly, dang I forget that I get quite wordy in these real posts, [:)] I want to thank everyone who followed and subscribed to my blog, I appreciate your comments and support.  I also enjoyed everyone’s blog I visited and commented on as well.  May 1st doing a Giveaway, so it’s just for you guys.

Here is a treat for you.  The cover art of my composed music album, “Elementz” in which is ready to be released.  It’s the ASTRO cover version on the album.  Album set to release early May 2013.

Life is near,
It’s never far,
It’s free to begin,
It moves like a car,
It follow routes and hit corners,
It also tend to break down,
But pick up your life,
And take it on the town.

*Remember to just live and keep it simple, meaningful and happy.

HARLEM SHAKE – BLACK NINJA [FUNNY VIDEO]

Harlem Shake BLACK NINJA viral trend video

So there a viral video trend going around in which has to do with the Harlem Shake.  Do you know what the Harlem Shake is?  Can you Harlem Shake?  Well the Harlem Shake is a type of dance created in Harlem, New York I believe a while back, but either way the trend has less to do with the actual dance but the entertainment value of the video.  It has more to do with the beat by the producer baauer titled Harlem Shake.  I saw the trend a day ago before I realized It got super big and popular, and decided to have some fun on a Saturday.  And how much fun it was.

Check out my version of the trend, The Black Ninja version [HARLEM SHAKE]

I hope you enjoyed the video. Here are a few others and the original makers of the viral trend. It’s only about 30 seconds of your life each so enjoy and laugh out loud, seriously LOL. :)

To Be A Published Author, A Dream

I have at a time hated books.  I hated to read.  It wasn’t to say I wasn’t interesting to read, it was just at that time I felt most of the content were typical.  I felt the same story and angles were being used.  Now I feel the same way about films.  I still love film, just feel a lack of storyline is being used to be different.  I will get back to film another post, but books were my enemy.  Have you ever felt that way before?

In high school when I discovered Shakespeare, Toni Morrison and Maya Angelou is when it hit me, I love books.  I hate to have to go 0-500 pages of reading but I loved books.   I just hated reading them in school just to pass a test.

What intrigue me the most were the authors and their story.  I used to wonder what the author must have been thinking to capture an emotion and to keep you engaged within a story.  Why they choose a certain plot or how thought of their characters names.  So based off of those curiosities and the lack or void of certain storytelling, I wanted to be a published author.  I didn’t know how and when, but I knew before the end of my life (I later adapted to the fame term: Bucket List), I would like it noted and documented that I was a published author.

Streamline about 10 plus years later, I figured out my angle and stories I wanted to write and tell, it’s just the execution of it I was missing.  It was my goal to achieve this “Published Author” milestone in 2012, but sadly I failed at that, based on timing and a lot of pressure with other goals and milestones I wanted, but finally can say with certainty that 2013 will be the year I achieve a dream.

Who are you favorite authors?  Do you like to read?  Do you own a digital e-reader?

Never Second Guess, But Actually Do

2 Hell with Common Sense

Sometimes in life we second guess ourselves, but most times it’s in a way to discourage ourselves in doing something we probably need to do.  To that, I say never second guess yourself and take a chance, but be cautious in doing so.  You never know what you do until you try.  So try something new today.

If you are in a certain particular situation that is unfitting to you or you think is too good to be true, please second guess it.  Or in other words, give it a second thought.  Write a pros and cons list, evaluate the circumstances and consequences and then make a proper decision.  We sometimes forget to use common sense or follow our natural instincts, it’s not really our fault, for we are perfect people and can make mistakes at times.  The take away from taking a second look or gaining a second opinion could make a huge difference to the outcome of the situation.  So I advise you be cautious and safe out there.

Is there a situation or decision you need an opinion or feedback on?  Are you too shy or feel embarrassed to ask a certain question?

Don’t feel embarrassed, knowledge and input is very helpful in life and becoming a better person.

Let me know your thoughts and opinions, don’t be shy, you can share, I like to listen.  :)

Weirder Things Had Happened

Everyday someone experience something or a certain situation and think it’s the craziest thing they have seen, but truth is weirder things had happened.  I live in the real world in which impossible is possible, it’s just not always seen by everyone.

Love, hate, death, poverty, exile, and all sort more exist and in many different forms, so what is really left?  There is always more variations to go around, so if something bad has happened to you, though it may heart-felt or close to the heart, remember that weirder things had happened before.

What do you think?  Is there anything that is too far-fetched that has happened?
